makan sutra.

while i have been having a serious craving for pulut udang since forever, i finally got all the ingredients i need. banana leaves were hell expensive. =.= and they came frozen in a pre-packed 1kg pack. so i ended up paying$11 for a kilo of banana leaves which i barely used a fifth of.
anyways...decided to have a go have pulut inti as well since the glutinous rice was done the same and i had this tantalizing recipe. all i had to do was cooked the grated coconut in gula melaka. well ginny cooked the grated coconut while i cut the banana leaves.

looks awesome yea? we were kinda freaking out at the amount of oil that the were flowing out of the pulut udang while grilling it. nevertheless, taste really yum!
